Thanksgiving at Mama's Farmhouse

ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT-THANKSGIVING-Dinner Served Family Style!
How does that work for ya?

Mama's Farmhouse in Pigeon Forge, seeing its first Thanksgiving in establishment, is literally as close to the old-school farmhouse Sunday family gather'n' you and your parents remember from way back when as you can find in Pigeon Forge. No expense or detail was spared to emulate the experience of the gathering of generations 'round the round table for 'taters, 'maters, brown beans and green, eggs and the many blessings of main dish meats.

Mama's is no stranger to serious, hometown, all-you-can-eat food and now that service naturally extends to Thanksgiving.

Just imagine you and your family sitting down to a big wooden table in an establishment like your parents or grandparents used to have for balanced, never-ending portions of:

- Deviled Eggs
- Assorted Relish Tray
- Roasted Turkey
- Honey Baked Ham
- Stuffing
- Turkey Gravy
- Mashed Potatoes
- Green Beans
- Sweet Potato Casserole
- Broccoli Casserole
- Succotash
- Cranberry Sauce
- Assorted Dinner Rolls
- Macaroni and Cheese
- Pecan Pie
- Peach Cobbler

And of course, Pumpkin Pie.

With a list like that, after everything else you just learned about Mama's Farmhouse, you better make those reservations NOW before all the tables are taken!

Adults - $16.99
Kids 5-12 - $8.99
Kids Four and Under - Free

Meals served from 11AM - 9PM. First come first served. Get those reservations in today!

The Rod Runs in Pigeon Forge are events to behold. Its not September until two back-to-back weekends are filled with classic cars parading down the street as the night sky is lit up with every hotel and headlight in the downtown area.

On the weekend of the 11th, the Shades of the Past Rod Run comes to The Smoky River Ranch in Pigeon Forge, but you'll be seeing its presence for miles around. The Rod Run is ENORMOUS here in town and those who come to attend will pretty much party a good deal of the night away (just use excellent judgment when you do). The sidewalks will be lined with chairs, festive watchers, owners, gearheads and much much more.

Word of warning: Traffic will be INSANE and there is nothing you can do about it. Just get in early, find a reasonable spot and some comfort footwear and enjoy.

On the 18th is the Grand Rod Run which takes place at the Grand Hotel and Convention Center. This is the biggest one of the year and if you missed anyone the first week, its a good chance they stuck around for this one.

Its a surprisingly well suited event to take the whole family to as well. The problem, then, is where to take the whole family for dinner during such a congested period of activity.
Well, would you believe you can get a proper, southern, Sunday afternoon after-church dinneron any of these given nights? Try it! The dynamic shift is pretty exciting and you're getting the real deal.

Mama's Farmhouse is where you want to go, not just because it literally is real home cooking, but because you don't even really need to drive there. Mama's Farmhouse is just above the Car Museum next to Professor Hacker's - a hop, skip and a jump uphill and across the street from Alamo Steakhouse.

It is recommended you come with a full family as Mama's is specifically designed to changing up the traditional style of restauranting. Even of ordering food, it is brought to you anyway - fried chicken, green beans, mashed and material taters, beans, pork and then some. It is generally not recommended for one person as you will be expected to eat and pay for all that, but with a family you couldn't do any better BECAUSE THE FOOD KEEPS COMING UNTIL YOU SAY STOP!

You came to Pigeon Forge for some excitement and nothing is more exciting than a creative, wild dynamic like that. If you're bringing the family, take them to Mama's. You'll be back.

Welcome to Mama's Farmhouse

Completed in April 2009, with doors swinging wide open not long after , Mama's Farmhouse in Pigeon Forge is the newest and one of the most convenient ways for you and your family to get the Southern-home style meal you drove here for.

No expense was spared in providing the southern kitchen and farmhouse atmosphere. The antique farmstead decor was built from the ground up, as evidenced by a noticably clean, simple and spacious environment. No crowded table cities or peanut-shelled floors here. no walls crumbling under the weight of random objects scavenged from wherever; Mama ran a clean and decent kitchen, so we will too.

You will be surprised and pleased at how Mama's Farmhouse stands out in the genre of family restaurants. The large family tables have built in lazy susan's on top of the table that make passing the salt, butter, taters and more efficient and fun. A gracious server takes your drink orders, gets you a basket of biscuits and corn bread to begin your dining experience.

You won't need to order your fried chicken, green beans, pinto beans, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and southern fried steak - its already coming. And if you and your family finish all that is brought -there is more waiting for you because it is ALL YOU CAN EAT!
Just when you think you have had all the great Southern Cookin you can enjoy, the peach cobbler or banana pudding top off the meal. The vanilla ice cream on the peach cobbler is a true delight.
Its a LOT of food, so don't come alone - bring the whole family.
You'll be glad you did.
